Beginners Courses
The sessions commence each year on the last Tuesday of April. They carry on through the summer, every Tuesday evening until the beginning of September, starting from 6.00pm onwards until dusk.
A complete course is four sessions and costs £36. Juniors under 18 may take the course (£20), providing one of their parent's also takes the course with them. Courses may commence on any Tuesday evening, the sessions do not have to be on consecutive Tuesdays.
All equipment instruction and light refreshments are provided.
A certificate is awarded on completion of the course.
(Under 18's must be accompanied by one of their own parents at all times, even if they later decide to become a member of this club.)
If you are not sure!!! You may try one complete evening for £10, (£6 under 18), if you then decide to complete the course it will cost another £26, (£14 under 18) for the extra three sessions.
If, after completing four sessions, you feel you would like to take up archery and join the club. We will provide an extra two weeks informative training. (£18 each, or £10 for under 18's.) This amount will then be deducted from the joining fee, when you join Spelthorne Archers.
Have A Go
If you are a member of a group, (rotary, sports club, group of friends, work department) and would like to try archery we can offer an entertaining evening.
Groups of 10 minimum and 16 maximum
Cost £8 per head (or £80 for the group if less than 10 members)
The evening will consist of
· instruction from experienced archers
· a refreshment break
· a competition
· a Certificate for the top scorer
Refreshments included in the cost are tea coffee and biscuits.
