Beginners Courses
Beginners Course are run from May to September each year
The Course consists of 6 evening lessons, usually on Tuesday evenings from 6pm till dark.
The fee for the complete course is £35 per adult and £35 for juniors or £55 for a parent and child.
This may be paid at £7 per evening with the 6th one free.
Equipment (bow, arrows and ancillary items) is provided for the duration of the course.
It is important that new archers do not purchase equipment until they have completed the course and obtained advice from experienced members.
On completion of the course beginners will receive a certificate from the Club.
People completing the course will be eligible to apply to join Spelthorne Archers.(a reduction in club fees is made for those completing the course) Acceptance is not guaranteed, and may involve joining a waiting list, as shooting member numbers are limited to 55.
Have A Go
If you are a member of a group, (rotary, sports club, group of friends, work department) and would like to try archery we can offer an entertaining evening.
Groups of 10 minimum and 16 maximum
Cost £8 per head (or £80 for the group if less than 10 members)
The evening will consist of
· instruction from experienced archers
· a refreshment break
· a competition
· a Certificate for the top scorer
Refreshments included in the cost are tea coffee and biscuits.
